G Center (Identity)
The seat of identity, love, and direction — the compass of the self.
About This Center
The G center (also called the Identity or Self center) is the core of who you are — your sense of self, your direction in life, and your experience of love. It's a magnetic center. When defined, it produces a consistent sense of identity and a reliable inner compass. When open, identity and direction shift with environment and company, which isn't a problem — it's information.
When Defined
You have a consistent, stable sense of who you are and where you're going. Your direction doesn't shift dramatically based on who you're with or where you are. You carry your identity with you.
When Open
Your sense of self and direction is highly contextual. You may feel like a different person in different environments, and that's correct — you're designed to be attuned to place and company. The trap is searching for a fixed identity you're not supposed to have.
Open Center Not-Self Theme
Asking "Who am I?" as an anxious question rather than a curious one; trying to fix a direction when you're designed to be guided by environment.
The Open Center's Wisdom
The open G center develops extraordinary sensitivity to place and people — and an ability to help others find their direction because it has navigated so many versions of identity itself.
